i respect that answer so much. i only wait for the muse and my research. i want something that feels like only me and you could ever have joined forces for it. I gotta dig more into your work. I really gotta understand deeply your stories. Im only at the surface right now with your work.
I had forgotten about Monster Trucks! I used to have them on wallpaper on my bedroom wall! Never seen one in the real world - maybe they have all died like this…
Sorry that wasn’t the deepest comment I have ever left - just created A really clear memory of being about 11yr old lying bed tracing the pictures on my wall with my finger -
Magical realism pouring from a timeless monster truck sentinal rusting into eternity. I really don't know what i expected from this... but it wasnt what i just read. really arresting surreal imagery and poignancy. its writing i wish I had written but probably never can. impetus to try harder and dig deeper and open wider my inner eyes. really enjoyed this work. the parking lot tarmac belies its fertililty.
Yeah, there's something here in how you transform mundane truck parts into mythology. The imagination to spin SUVs and junkyards into a creation story. That I like
I love magical realism and dammit, this is up there, beyond the clouds brilliant.
You made a monster truck live and die all at once and standing here, waiting for my tea to brew, I feel so sad and moved. Our boiler has just ticked into life and I wonder if he is still talking to the one he replaced a year or so ago. Probably.
Thank you so much, again. This is a funny comment! You got me thinking about boilers now. There is so much one could use there. I work in real estate in Detroit so I know a thing or two about boilers, even the effort to stop them from getting stolen when remodeling a house. Thank you again for your support of me and of Sum Flux.
Monster Truck, you really did give us spectacle. I didn’t expect the profound soul that came too. Beautiful.
Well said, Rose. The soul is striking and surprising here. The two of you have reduced me to ashes in this edition.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.

ALL THE DAMN EASTER EGGS! What a fun monster adventure. But also so tragic.
Even I am not going to find all the eggs, and I read all these stories 20 times!
Stand aside King Kong
And what was the monster’s name? I imagine it might be something like Leviathang or Rough Justice, maybe Bog Bandit or G Wrecks.
Paver.
doh, yes, don't know how I missed that. Paver is the best name.
my brother i really hope we can do a song/story together one day.
Why wait? Life short.

Same same. Maybe we think about what’s next for sum flux with Sandolore?
love that. lets do it. im dedicated to her and Brock.
Give her a few days of recovery and let’s start that conversation.

I need that wallpaper.
That wall paper would be cool!
Thank you so much.

Nice work.
Thank you so much, brother!

Thank you George. I am a fan of your work.
This is so crazy and rad and yet subdued and meaningful — I love it.
thank you so much, Keith.
Damn so fresh and vibrant. Part of me wishes the Monster Truck was my grandfather, part of me's freaked out by the insane images. bravo!
Thank you so much, Will. The appreciation is mutual.

You’re very welcome! Keep an eye on your boiler…
Reminded me of a slower, wiser Fury Road.
thank you so much for reading.
Wow! Loved this and your narration. Excellent world building.
