I am really excited about it, it's been something of a wild ride getting everything together (of course I decided I had to make 7 pieces of artwork to go with the writings, oh then, the edition needs its own logo, oh, and the Volume needs its own flyer, oh and, oh and, oh and...) But the writing is really great and incredibly varied. I am inordinately pleased. I am glad you will be here.
I particularly like the blue-green mosaic you lead off with (but I'm partial to that kind of sea-glass effect). It leads you in. Then the contrast with the black and white authors at the end gives just the right punch.
Are you creating them after you read the stories? I'm trying to sweep the whole parking lot with my story. I can't have nobody got harder in the paint on the zine than me! i heart how hard working you are. Keeps me motivated.
This is cool. Really cool. I like so much about this. Rather than just links to content though, I really want to get that zine feel of themes, assemblage, urban chaos, etc maybe with more inline excerpts from the linked stories? I really like this zine idea! Great work!
